BTCCO Offered Trophies for Border Terriers Participating in the Spring Central Ohio Kennel Club Show in Conformation, Obedience, and Rally on April 22, 2008.

We held our Spring meeting at the April 22 COKC show and had a wonderful turnout of Borders on that day!!!  The BTCCO supported the obedience, rally, and conformation entries with prizes.  There were a couple of rally levels with no BTs entered and no BTs were brave enough to enter obedience this year, but hopefully we will get a couple to dip their toes in the obedience pool next year.  Conformation had a great entry, with a total of 20 Borders entered.

As part of our Spring meeting, we discussed several items, the most important being whether we wanted to pursue becoming an AKC recognized club.  The overwhelming sentiment was “yes” so we are starting the process of information gathering related to documenting past BTCCO events and activities and adjusting our membership form to assemble information required by AKC.We has a wonderful turn out of Border Terriers at the Central Ohio Spring show. The BTCCO sponsored trophies for high scoring BT in Obedience, high scoring BT in each Rally Class and we sponsored several conformation trophies.
